About Andy Gersh

Color, light and composition are the three main driving forces behind Andy Gersh's graphic art. Whether he's using a camera, a computer or linked pieces of glass to convey his designs, the simple fundamentals of design are his motivation for creating balanced, stylish pieces that sooth eyes and inspire others. 

It was during his education at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) studying design and live action filmmaking that truly awoke the artist inside Andy. Staying up 'til dawn, working on color and design assignments until his eyes were bloodshot, the world of design beyond the typical made an indelible impression on him. Andy's desire to create aesthetically sublime images is his biggest personal challenge.

In addition to his love of all graphic types of art, Andy has worked in the entertainment industry since 1991, working in the art department of over eighty-five productions ranging from music videos, training films and commercials to television series and motion pictures. His jobs have included being Set Decorator, Leadman, Set Dresser, On-Set Dresser, Camera Assistant, Make-Up Artist and Director/Editor of more than of his own short films. He's finally happy to see his art adorning the walls of sets for the latest television & motion picture productions.
